The Springfield Contractors Association (SCA) announced Ollis & Company won SCA’s annual Project of the Year award. Ollis was nominated for their building extension and remodeling to house their new Ollis Center.

The Ollis Center is a state-of-the-art facility to focus on employee health, safety and compliance for their clients. The new addition houses a fitness and yoga studio, training facility, locker room and an office suite for health and safety staff, Professional instruction and training are now available in the new facility.

“We are very pleased with the quality of the construction work particularly since it exceeded our expectations,” said company President, Richard Ollis. “Of course, we are equally proud of this prestigious award.”

The SCA Project of the Year award recognizes a single project, including the Owner, GC/CM and Design Team. The selection committee chooses the award winner from nominees based on overall quality of project, creativity and uniqueness of design,
functionality of design, impact on traffic/Infrastructure, use of “green” building practices, project’s value to the community and use of SCA members on this Project.
