Richard is a fourth generation insurance consultant specializing in business insurance. He has been in the industry since 1984 following a tour of duty in the United States Navy and obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Insurance from Southwest Missouri State University. Richard has been recognized as Missouri's 1996 Young Agent of the Year and 1999 Chairman of the Year and regularly writes for the Springfield Business Journal and has hosted the radio talk show "Insurance Talk." He is a past chairman of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Board of Directors for Springfield Little Theatre and serves on many other charitable and civic organizations.
